1. What types of shipping containers do you offer?
We offer a range of high-quality shipping containers:
- standard 20-foot containers
- standard and high cube 40-foot containers
- standard 40-foot side door containers (3 doors – picture below)
- office containers (windows, door, window unit)
2. How much does it cost to rent or purchase a shipping container?
This depends on container’s size, delivery location and market fluctuation. We try to stay competitive within our local market.
3. How long can I rent a shipping container for?
Minimum of 1 month
4. Do you deliver the containers?
Yes! Standard delivery price ranges based on the size of container. We are only able to transport empty containers.
5. Can you move the container once it’s been delivered?
Yes, however, container must be empty to be moved. We an also move personally owned containers for a fee, as long as the containers are empty.
6. Are the containers weatherproof and secure?
Yes. Before purchasing from our supplier, containers are inspected to ensure they are weathertight. Unless otherwise specified – as there are times customers do not require weathertight as they are using the container in a different capacity.
7. What if I don’t have space for a container at my location?
We are happy to work with you to find a suitable solution. We can advise on the container size that will best fit your available space and may even recommend alternative delivery locations if necessary.
8. Can I customize a shipping container for my needs?
Yes, additional fees to modify containers are available. This does delay the time-frame in which a container can be delivered.
9. How do I rent or purchase a container from Site Stash?
Renting or purchasing a container from Site Stash is easy! Simply contact us by phone, email, or submit an inquiry via our online form. Once we have all your details, we’ll provide a quote and finalize the arrangement.
10. Do I need a permit for placing a shipping container on my property?
In some cases, you may need a permit or approval from your local municipality to place a shipping container on your property. We recommend checking with your local government or zoning office for specific regulations. If you need assistance with this process, don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll be happy to help guide you.
11. How do I know what size shipping container I need?
The size of the container you need depends on what you plan to store. Our most popular sizes are 20-foot and 40-foot containers.
12. What is the process for returning a rented container?
We require a minimum of a 10 day notice to pick up containers. We do ask for a picture of the container to ensure the driver has accessibility to the location of the container for pick-up.
13. Are the containers available for immediate delivery?
We strive to provide fast delivery for all our containers. Availability depends on the specific container size and location, but in most cases, we can deliver within a few days of confirming your order.
14. Can I place a container on a construction site or business property?
Yes, shipping containers are a popular choice for construction sites and businesses that need secure storage for equipment, materials, or inventory.
